32nd Annual Minnesota Knitters Days 2016 Registration and Infomation

32nd ANNUAL MINNESOTA KNITTERS’ DAYS
PRIOR LAKE, MN
NOVEMBER 11th, 12th, 13th, 2016

Come and join us at the Franciscan Retreat Center for the weekend, located on 60 acres of land near the communities of Prior Lake and Savage, southwest of the Twin Cities area.  Enjoy knitting, relaxing and sharing quality time with fellow knitters!
INSTRUCTOR: Melissa Leapman
Melissa Leapman is the bestselling author of many knitting and crocheting books.  She teaches at many major knitting and crochet events, including STITCHES, VKLive, the CGOA/TKGA shows, and the Minnesota Knitter’s Guild Yarn Over event, as well as several TNNA industry trade shows for the past twelve years. Additionally, her knitwear designs are popular and always trending on web-based venues such as Craftsy, and Ravelry.
MAJOR TEACHING TOPIC: “Mosaic and other Slip Stitch Knitting", including Mosaic stitches (using 3 textures) and other Slip Stitch techniques. We will explore "faux fair isle" and patterns that use yarn floats on the right-side of the fabric that are manipulated on later rows in interesting ways. We will learn many new facets of Mosaic and Slip Stitch Knitting and hope that you can join us for this November weekend.
